Your opening line has to GRAB attention.

One of the best exercises you can go through is to watch other people speak. These clips are all from Ted Talks and I posted their opening lines here so you can see how they dive straight into content. No setup, no thanking the audience, no bio. Content and captivating content from the first second. Ted Talks are 18 minutes long and they cover some remarkably complex subjects. There is no time for prologue. Can you begin your presentation as near to the 'meat' as possible?
