Use "Mini Stories" to Connect

People will remember your stories long after they've forgotten your content so sprinkle your presentation with mini stories throughout.

Of course we've talked about the big stories. The setup, the payoff, the connection back to your theme. But these are different. Mini stories are often no more than a line or two.

For instance you might say, "This meeting was so intense that when I left I had to go back to my office and change into to my spare shirt so no one would see the sweat stains."  Or, "We continued our meeting at Maude's, a tiny little New England diner that smelled like cookies and burnt coffee."

Studies show that people remember stories longer, trust them more, and repeat them more accurately. So for each of your points you should have a story. How will this make your life better?
